Rhode Planning places its fundamental values in accountability to the client, personal responsibility, and hands-on involvement. Our staff is comprised of industry and transportation professionals who are known for their customer-centric attention and innovative solutions.
With 30+ years of transportation industry experience, we have actively participated in and planned some of the industry’s most operationally challenging events. Our team has excelled while working through two Chicago Marathons, city-wide street closures during presidential caravans, city-wide festivals, and even natural disasters. Our ability to remain agile in dynamic situations has made it possible to deliver uninterrupted service.
For more than a decade, our staff has provided service and support for the largest annual trade show in the U.S.; the largest medical meeting in the U.S.; multiple presidential inaugurations; U.S. and international dignitaries; and members of the Secret Service.
Planning
Rhode Planning is known for being problem solvers. Whether efficiency or budget drive the conversation, Rhode Planning can successfully meet the challenge. We work hand-in-hand with clients to develop and deploy systems that meet or exceed their requirements.
Our transportation ecosystem approach incorporates all aspects necessary to accomplish our clients’ objectives. From shuttles and executive service to traffic management (including rideshare integration and parking), our experience is a powerful tool to foster client success.
Through our relationships with national and locally-sourced vehicles, convention center personnel, and local authorities, Rhode Planning’s coordinated efforts will ensure a positive attendee experience.
Execution
Pre-Event
The execution of a transportation plan starts well before the first attendee arrives at the event. Rhode Planning’s service to attendees begins months in advance with promoted routings, boarding locations, maps, and schedules. The more information a show attendee can arrive with in hand, the better.
Onsite Deployment
The best-laid plans have to be executed in order to prove their worth, and onsite execution is where our expertise shines brightest.
Rhode Planning’s experience has led us to develop a robust pre-event action plan. Through a series of confirmation processes, every last detail is confirmed and updated as necessary. There are no excuses for unpreparedness.
